Sarah L. Crowder

Sarah L. Crowder was born in Missouri but has lived in Houston, Texas, for most of her adult life. Before settling into the boring but stable world of accounting, she worked as a singing telegram performer, a phone psychic, a retail manager, a costume designer, and a personal assistant. She recently added organizational consulting to her resume and became a member of the American Society of Professional Organizers. She has co-hosted poetry readings, written for and acted in an award-winning radio theatre program, and sung on stage with Revels Houston. Sarah has a particular interest in sustainable fashion and enjoys sewing much of her own wardrobe. Primarily, Sarah is a writer: She has written piles of poetry, a good number of short stories, four first-draft novels, and reams of nanofiction. She is currently working on a fantasy romance series and publishes an email newsletter called “Well-Dressed Prose.” You can connect with her on Instagram and Bluesky.
